In-Person Meeting: Wild at the Zoo presented by Chane Cullens

North Haven Camera Club is pleased to host a presentation by professional photographer Chane Cullens at our Tuesday, April 14th meeting. Chane has previously presented to our club, and we are excited to have him back! His presentation this year, called “Wild at the Zoo“, is geared toward teaching photographers how to capture stunning wildlife images while at zoos.

Chane’s passion lies in educating photographers on a wide range of topics, from camera and photo basics to helping judges provide constructive feedback. His work has earned him first-place awards in print and digital photography competitions from both the New England Camera Club Council (NECCC) and the Connecticut Association of Photographers (CAP). He also received an Honorary Member (HonNEC) award from NECCC for his significant contributions to the Council and the broader photographic community.

A resident of Sandy Hook, Chane is an active board member of the Flagpole Photographers Camera Club. He has been a dedicated Canon user since 1987 and is recognized for his insightful photography presentations and sharing his extensive computer knowledge, from having a strong background in the computer field. Chane has delivered technical presentations in 34 countries, always finding time to pursue his passion for photography during his travels. In his free time, he is an ultra-marathon runner, having completed a 100-mile race in 2024.
